Facilities at the Club, include 4 briefing rooms, clubroom, canteen, pilots shop, private car park and private aircraft park.
The Club provides updated weather reports for home and away airfields, use of a constantly updated UK AIP (Air Pilot) and ANO (Air Navigation Order) Aerads, Notams, and safety bulletins. The latest set of examination papers for students are always available and all examinations are sat at the Club. Full comprehensive student notes are kept on each individual trainee pilot and applications for licences and ratings will be made by the Club on behalf of the student if requested.
Computer Access
Computers with Broadband connection available to keep abreast of current met and flight safety issues.
Briefing Rooms
All briefing rooms have wallboards, tables, and chairs, and are available for briefings, flight planning, examinations or private study.
Pilots Shop
The pilots shop has a comprehensive stock of pilot requisites, including charts, training manuals, navigation equipment, headsets etc., plus item such as badges, stickers, air band radios and sunglasses. The shop is open club hours which are 7 days a week 9:00 hours to 17:30 hours.
Members And Staff Social Events
Throughout the year social events are organised, from BBQ's to special flying occasions. Members are regularly updated by newsletter about forthcoming events and club related news.
