The FI Rating is valid for 3 years. Renewal is done by completing two of the following three options:
- Complete a flying test with an examiner in the last twelve months of
licence validity period.
- Complete 100 instructional flying hours, 30 in the last 12 months of licence validity.
- Attend approved Seminar within the last twelve months of licence validity.
The flying test with an examiner, will involve a pre flight briefing on a subject of his choice,
followed by approximately 1 hours flying assessment of your instructional capabilities in general
handling skills such as stalling, steep turns, and spinning. After the flight will be a long briefing
on a PPL subject.
